ROAD is an independent voluntary non-commercial union of the companies dealing with vehicle sales and repairs. The Association includes more than 50 companies that are official dealers of the largest automotive manufacturers and a number of associated members that also work at the car market.

The ROAD is the member of

• the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
• the Russian Union of Manufacturers and Owners
• the Commercial and Economic Council of the Economy Ministry.
  

The Association collaborates with different state organizations working out potential approaches towards normalizing the situation at the car market.
The Association contacts with the Transport Department of the Moscow Government and with the Moscow service of technical control. The ROAD is carrying on negotiations on the Association members’ participation in the procedure of the car preparing for the state technical inspection.
The solving of the professional problems of automobile dealers depends on the economy situation in the State at large. Therefore the Association collaborates with the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Russian Union of Manufacturers and Owners and other organizations standing up for the common interests of national business. The ROAD as the member of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry works on improvement of Russian legislation.

Last two years ROAD is very active in maintaining of international professional communications. In 2007 ROAD became the member of NADA and now ROAD is going to be the member of CECRA.
First Professional International Conference of Autodealers is going to be 27th of August 2008 in Moscow (during Moscow International Automobile Salon - MIAS-2008).

The Association is open for the press. The leading automobile editions often appeal to the Association for the comments on the last events in the automotive area. The ROAD gives a support to automobile competitions and conferences.

The Association possesses and supplies its members by statistical and marketing information on car import, export and sales in Russia. Besides, the ROAD has created and is maintaining the data base on the official automobile dealers in Russia.

The Association regularly holds on informal meetings of the ROAD member leaders, which improve friendly relations between our companies and, therefore, strengthen automobile business association as a whole.
